LAUGHING GAS
Nitrous oxide sedation, also known as laughing gas, is a form of mild sedation commonly used in the dental setting. It is a colourless, odourless gas that, when inhaled, produces a calm, relaxed and comfortable feeling. It is extremely safe and the best part is that once you stop inhaling the gas (we give you 100% oxygen for 5 minutes after), you feel completely normal and are even able to drive afterwards. This is a great option for any anxious patient, and especially useful for children.
