DENTURES
A denture is a removable appliance that is used to replace missing teeth. A complete denture can be made when all the teeth are missing, or a partial denture can be made when some teeth are still present. Dentures can also be held in place and stabilized by implants.
When dentures are not fixed in the mouth by implants, they can have some movement to them, especially when eating (this is one of the downsides). They must also be cleaned daily, and should be taken out at night to allow the tissues to breathe.
